There are so many different tv shows and films, and with streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, they are easier to watch now than ever before. So, to make things a little easier, here are the ten things you should be streaming right now.
Dead to Me
This show has two seasons available to watch on Netflix. It follows the life of Jen, who has recently lost her husband and after attending a therapy group for bereft spouses , she makes a new friend at her. Jen and Judy’s friendship is unlikely but it brings them both comfort, so much in fact Judy moves in to Jens guesthouse. Together they bond over their grief, but it is their friendship that ultimately leads to madness, mayhem and murder.
Little Fires Everywhere
This brand-new Amazon series only has eight episodes to watch so far, but as it’s based on a best-selling novel , that made it into The New York Tines Top Ten Bestsellers, we know there’s more to come. The show follows the life of two mothers and their daughters whose lives become entwined. We watch as their different choices and experiences affect the people they love, and how two strangers who lived very different lives became enemies.
White Lines
This Netflix crime drama follows the life of Zoe Walker, who leaves her quiet life behind to investigate the disappearance of her brother in Ibiza. However, she soon gets more than she bargained for, as she ends up following a dangerous path and discovers her brother may not have been who she thought he was.
Hustlers
This 2019 film is available to stream on Amazon, and is full of A-listers, including Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Lili Reinhart, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Constance Wu, and Lizzo. The film follows the lives of a group of strippers in New York, who lost their money in the 2008 economic collapse. They blame the Wall Street workers who enter their clubs, so they steal their money and run up their credit cards when the stock traders and CEO’s visit the club.
21 Bridges
This film is available to watch on Amazon Prime, and features Andre, who follows in his father’s footsteps by becoming a police officer and tries to make sense of the cruel world around him. After he uncovers a conspiracy, he leads the citywide manhunt for two young men, who killed some of his fellow officers. He closes the island down, stopping boats, trains, cars, and closing all 21 bridges to prevent the suspects from escaping.
Snowpiercer
This futuristic Netflix TV series is set 2031, in a world that was frozen over, and all that remains is a train which 3000 people live on in order to survive. Many of the train’s residents live in luxury, but the poorer residents live in the caboose. This leads to a revolt, as the poorer residents try to take over the engine room and move towards the front of the train to spread the wealth around. But, this attempt to disrupt the class system is not handled with mercy.

Have you ever wondered what happens when you die? In this Amazon series, Nathan has two options after recovering from a suspicious car crash. These are to have emergency surgery in an operating room, or to be uploaded into a virtual afterlife. However even in death Nathan is still under the control of his still-living girlfriend, Ingrid, as she places him in the very and expensive Lake View. Nathan however starts to have feelings for someone else, and others suspect his death was intentional.
Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich
This new limited Netflix series features Jeffrey Epstein – a Gatsby like figure of mystery. The documentary series shows how Epstein used his wealth and power to abuse young and underage women, as well as to make a mockery of the justice system. The renewed interest in Epstein comes about only a few months after Epstein committed suicide in 2019, during his time in prison as a convicted sex offender. The series features women speaking out, and their hopes to take down other men like him.
My Spy
After a 9-year-old girl catches a CIA agent spying on her family, she pinkie promises not to blow his cover if he teaches her how to become a spy. Which involves how to lie, fight, and look cool whilst walking away from an explosion. This show combines danger with dancing and shows the lighter side of being a spy. But can a little girl really outwit and blackmail a former special forces soldier that is now a CIA agent? To find out, you can stream the film now on Amazon Prime.
Dynasty
Netflix has rebooted the 1980s soap opera and the family is back and better than ever. The Carrington family is a force to be reckoned with, as their family is built on wealth, power, and privilege, although their business and feuds do keep them rather occupied. Fallon is a young entrepreneur who seeks to outsmart her father and remove what seems to be a revolving door of stepmothers. However, all this power doesn’t come without crime, corruption and craziness.
