Due to being stuck in quarantine, everyone is in the same boat and we are all stuck wondering what to do. But have you wondered what your favourite celebrities are doing?
Due to being stuck at home, the number of web series have started to increase again. Whilst celebrities are stuck in their luxurious homes, some have produced their own web series to keep all their fans entertained. Have a read and see what celebrities are doing, and some of the best to watch at the moment!
Miley Cyrus
Bright Minded, Miley Cyrus’s new Instagram series to keep the spirit of her fans up. Including a retro theme song that is sung by Cyrus herself, Miley looks to bring positivity to these surreal times through this web series. Throughout the series, Miley has some recognisable additional guests including Hailey Bieber, Demi Lovato and her former Hannah Montana co-star, Emily Osment. This is a great series to get you through quarantine as it doesn’t just talk about meaningful issues such as depression and anxiety, but it brings a bit of joy for anyone watching.
Russel Howard
Although this may not be online, this is still a great series provided by a celebrity to get you through quarantine. Russel Howard’s Home Time (full episodes available on YouTube), is broadcast every Thursday and its as if Russel is with you in the comfort of your own home. He takes a look back at some of the weeks humorous moments that are guaranteed to make you laugh. What makes this series great to watch is not only is it full of laughs, but it takes time to recognise some of the positive actions that arise from this pandemic. Additionally, it includes some great guests and some exceptional music performances at the end of each episode!
Will Smith
Available on Snapchat, Will from Home sees Will Smith sat in his garage with additional appearances from his star-studded family and some celebrity friends including model Tyra Banks. Viewers get a sneak peek into the life and home of Smith as he sets out to get everyone through these self-distancing restrictions. The series evolved from talks between Snapchat and Smith’s production company and Smith was described as “feeling a lot of pent up creative energy and was excited to do something with it in a new and different way”. So, have a watch and gain an insight into the life of Men in Black star Will Smith.
James Corden
Similar to Will Smith, James Corden has also been hosting Homefest: James Corden’s Late Late Show special from his garage (we are all going to become experts on celebrities’ garages it seems). Whilst he may not be able to do carpool karaoke at the moment with some of the biggest names in entertainment, this doesn’t stop him talking to them! James has already interviewed high-profile stars pre-quarantine, but this isolation special has seen the likes of Billie Eilish, John Legend, Will Ferrell, Dua Lipa and many more. Not only has it included some great interviews, but also musical performances including Andrea Bocelli, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and the cast of broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen. If you were missing The Late Late show (I know I was), then watch this and it’ll be like it never left!
So, with so many producing web series, you don’t have to miss out on watching your favourite celebrities and can do it all from the comfort of your own home. Have a watch and see what you like best!
