Whether you prefer your Spooktober activities to be booze-fuelled or sober, there’s always something to do in and around Notts – it’s time to whip out your devil horns and plan a great night out!
Brack From The Dead
For those on the rural campus of NTU, the Brack Bar is bringing the fun of the city to you! On the October 30, there will be a live DJ, a fancy dress competition, apple bobbing and more! Tickets will be sold from the bar on Monday 29 from 6pm, but the capacity is 200, so get them fast! The party starts at 10pm and ends at 2am so there’s plenty of time to get in the mood for the big day.
Old Market Scare
Between October 25 – 31, the Old Market Square in Nottingham will be jam-packed with spooky activities, including a giant pumpkin for a great photo opportunity, dancing skeletons and live music! Also advertised is a Witches Brew in Nottingham’s scariest bar – let’s hope for no side-effects!

Discover more of Nottingham City Centre by trick-or-treating your way around a map of over 70 businesses hosting games, craft activities and ghost stories. Stay on the look out for four different spooky characters dotted around the city and fill your free treat bag with goodies as you make your way around. This event is completely free and can be customised to your liking so you can make the night really yours!
The Original Ghost Walk
One of the most popular attractions in Nottingham, The Original Ghost Walk takes you on a tour around the Castle Quarter of the city, starting in Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem (England’s oldest surviving inn) and travelling around Nottingham Castle, learning about the paranormal hotspots and lore of the city. This runs from 7pm every Saturday and requires a booking around Halloween, tickets costing £6 for adults.

· The Spirit Tours, a series of mixology before taking a tour of 500-year-old gaol and courtrooms held on October 29 and 30.
· Meet the ghosts of Wollaton Hall on a spooky tour around the building on the October 29 starting at 7:10pm.
· Pressure is a free event at the Rescue Rooms featuring a live DJ and 2-4-1 drinks on the October 29 starting at 10pm.
