Top 10 shows to watch on TV in June

You may not know what to watch next, and not everyone uses streaming services, so here are the top 10 things you can watch on TV right now.

Gogglebox (Channel 4)
Channel 4 welcomes us into dozens of UK homes, where we can watch families and friends react to some of the best things that have been on TV in the past week. This series has been ongoing since 2013 and is still as popular today as ever before.

Amy Schumer Learns to Cook (Food Network)
She has been in numerous films, most recently I feel pretty and Snatched, but Amy is just as funny off screen as she is on it. To keep us entertained during the lockdown, she and her chef husband, Chris Fischer, are hosting a cooking show where he teaches her the skills of cooking.

Brooklyn 99 (Channel 4)
There are so many shows about the NYPD, but nothing can compare to Brooklyn 99. Jake has the pranks, Amy has the binders, and Terry has the yogurt. The show is currently on its seventh season with more to come, and you can watch episodes daily on Channel 4, or stream them all on All4.

Isolation Stories (ITV)
This month ITV began airing a new short series about people’s lives in lockdown. All the episodes were filmed during lockdown, and they followed all the rules, so the footage was filmed on sterilised camera equipment that was delivered to the homes of the actors in the series.

Nothing to Declare (Sky Witness)
Even though we can’t go on holiday right now we can watch people get into trouble on theirs. This show follows the work of Australian custom officers, and the thousands of people that try and sneak things into the country, including drugs and even food.

Family Guy (ITV)
The Griffin family remains on ITV2, and you can watch a variety of episodes across all eighteen seasons most evenings. This show is perfect for anyone who needs a laugh, as with all of Peters shenanigans you’ll be in stitches at the end of every episode.

Panorama (BBC)
This BBC series has been around since the 1950’s but they are still making documentaries on issues and people we want to know about. Most recently, they have done an episode on Amazon, and what the multibillion-dollar company knows about it’s users.

Cops UK: Bodycam Squad (Really)
You can catch up with the police every day on Really, as the officers and their body cameras respond to emergencies, investigate crimes and arrest suspects all over the country. The documentary shows you all aspects of being an officer, including the successes and the failures.

Happy Feet (ITV)
Who doesn’t love this classic film about a penguin who can’t sing like all his friends, but can dance? ITV2 has multiple family films on every day, so if Happy Feet isn’t to your taste there is also Shrek, The Good Dinosaur, Jumanji and many more films. As the evening goes on there are also films such as Coyote Ugly, Ride Along, and Kong: Skull Island.

You’ve Been Framed (ITV)
Everyone enjoys a laugh, and it’s impossible not to laugh when watching some of the most awful and cringeworthy fails all gathered up and put into episodes for us to watch. But if the clips weren’t funny enough on their own, narrator Harry Hill makes the show even better with his witty comments.
