The Notebook
Based on the novel of the same name by Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook depicts the relationship between wealthy girl Allie and mill worker Noah who fall in love despite her parents’ disapproval.
Noah decides to fight for his country as a soldier in the second world war, suddenly ending his relationship with Allie. After he leaves, Allie has a relationship with another man and almost gets married! However, when Noah returns it is clear that they still love each other.
Sleepless in Seattle
After the death of Sam’s wife, his son Jonah phones into a talk show on the radio in the hopes of finding his dad love.
Notting Hill
Bookshop owner William Thacker (Hugh Grant) and actress Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) fall in love after she walks into his book shop. However, they never expected the struggles that they faced due to their different social status.
When Harry Met Sally
Upon their first meeting, Harry (Billy Crystal) and Sally (Meg Ryan) become friends. This develops after a chance meeting five years later where they are forced into confessing their feelings for each other.

This version sees Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio playing the star-crossed lovers.
