If you had to choose anyone from the film world to be in lockdown with then who would it be?
We asked some of our writers to decide who they would want to be in lockdown with and why.

Iāve never really had a favourite film star, but if Iād have to choose just one, it would probably be Rachel McAdams. She has played in many of my favourite films including The Spotlight, About Time, Mean Girls, Southpaw, Wedding Crashers and The Notebook.
She is extremely talented and has proven herself continuously in a wide variety of genres. I think it would be really interesting to be in isolation with McAdams as she keeps her personal life very private. To get to know her you would have to spend time with her and not just go through her social media like any other casual celebrity, as she doesnāt even have any social media accounts.
McAdams gives me the impression, that even though she is a very successful Hollywood actress, she is humble, family-oriented and down-to-earth. I believe she would be the kind of person that once you get to know her, you could have deep meaningful conversations with her, instead of wasting time on small talk.
I admire McAdams on screen and think she would also be interesting person to spend time with behind the scenes.

If I were to isolate with just one film star, itād have to be someone with a lot of range. Who better then, than Korean cinema icon Song Kang-ho?
The actor is best known for this yearās Oscar-sweeping Parasite, where he gives an intense and layered performance. Outside of this role, heās played all kinds of different characters. Song could switch between the brooding, revenge-driven father from Mr. Vengeance, the morally-conflicted vampiric priest from Thirst, or Memories of Murderās tough-talking detective to keep the day-to-day quarantine chat from going stale.
Most importantly, he seems like a really nice guy off the movie set too. When Parasite was first shown at Broadway Cinema as part of a special preview screening, I got to see Song and director Bong Joon-ho live from London in a commemorative Q&A session.
With his signature ear-to-ear grin, he shared behind-the-scenes anecdotes that had the audience erupting with laughter; first the fluent Korean speakers, then the rest following translation from interpreter Sharon Choi. Come to think of it, sheād have to come along as a plus-one if we wanted to cross the language barrier…

If I could spend a day with an actor or actress in isolation it would probably be Emma Watson.
Emma Watson besides, playing the infamous Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films (which I absolutely love). She is so down to earth while still allowing herself to dream and more than that, she works hard and make the best of her life to help others.
Being in isolation with her would be amazing! Not only because she is funny and her friends call her the āBag Ladyā ā which I can relate to because I always carry lots of things with me on my backpack, but also because we could have meaningful and real conversations about the world.
She is so involved in the world, her speeches are simply inspiring, and I think that we could have great talks either about the environment, feminist problems, human rights and whatever comes to our minds.
Plus, I am so ready to hear her say āIt’s leviOsa, not levioSA!ā because that makes me laugh every time, no matter how many times I hear it (lack of a sense of humour? Probably!).

The person I would want to isolate with would be Taron Egerton. Iām not simply basing my opinion on his looks (swoon, especially in Kingsman: A Secret Service), but from all the films I have seen him in, he showcases endless amounts of talent. From his amazing portrayal of Elton John in Rocketman to his comedic, yet poised performance in Kingsman.
As seen in Rocketman and Sing, he can belt out some tunes! Who wouldnāt want a live performance of Elton Johnās āIām Still Standingā (a perfect message for everyone at the moment) during lockdown?
As well as the singing, Egerton is comedic, as seen in his role as Eggsy in Kingsman (one of my favourite parts he has played). As the way things are now, laughter is key to making things a bit lighter, therefore Egerton could help with this.
Also, after seeing him not only on the screen in his roles but in many interviews, he seems an easy-going person, someone you can talk to about anything and never get bored talking to.
