Nottingham has a growing music scene with annual festivals showcasing the city at its best and bringing people together through music.
These are some of the biggest festivals worth getting tickets for this upcoming year:
Detonate Festival:
This day long festival brings festival-goers to Colwick Country Park allowing people to escape and enjoy the scenic landscape at Nottingham’s oldest country park.
The outdoor event celebrates a genre of styles from drum and bass to house music across numerous decorative stages.
Detonates lineups include a selection of DJs and live acts with past performers including Hybrid Minds, Andy C and Chase and Status.
Splendour Festival:
This family friendly festival introduces upcoming artists as well as acclaimed headliners to perform at Wollaton Deer and Hall Park.
The festival started in 2008 with headliners including Kate Nash, Paolo Nutini and the Charlatans.
This festival’s wide-ranging lineup means there is something for everyone with new bands being introduced as well as 80s and 90s classics like Supergrass and the Happy Mondays.
This years headliners consisted of Richard Ashcroft, Craig David, Anne-Marie and many more.
Dot To Dot Festival:
This festival recognises the loyal music scene in Bristol and Nottingham showcasing local venues from both cities with music lovers travelling from building to building to watch their favourite bands.
A selection of Nottinghams best locations used include The Bodega, Rock City, The Level, Rough Trade, Rescue Rooms and many more allowing you to tour the city and visit new places.
This years lineup included Alfie Templeman, Squid and Ghetts.
The day event introduces new artists to the scene with past lineups including Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, Foals and Fontaines DC.
Dot To Dot acts as a platform for the latest artists, so make sure to get tickets in 2023 to witness the next big names in the business.
