‘Sad Songs’ is the latest track by emerging star Jack Conway. The only way to describe this song is as an uplifting masterpiece of a pop song with a splash of passion.
Jack Conway is a rising 25-year-old pop singer/songwriter from Indiana and raised in Los Angeles. He has been writing music over the last six years and he has been developing even more songs over the last year.
As we come out of the ever so lasting lockdown, music lovers are seeking to find new songs which we can play in the upcoming months to bring us some happiness and elements of hope for once and this track does just that.
Conway found inspiration for his latest creation ‘Sad Songs’ during the pandemic, offering an uplifting alternative to the typically depressing music of the lockdown. He wanted to claim his happiness and celebrate it within his new music piece.
This song is the perfect summer hit to blast out of your car. Think of it as a way to celebrate the freedom which we can all finally enjoy, as we come out of the shadows cast by the lockdowns and the rollercoaster of a year.
Jack Conway, pop music artist, explains: “During COVID, I got so sick of being sad/sad songs, so I wrote this song with two co-writers and produced it myself in my bedroom.
“It’s a perfect spring/summer song to roll down the windows to because it offers nostalgic names like Linkin Park and Evanescence with a modern IIlenium-esque production.
“Just like people say, ‘it’s good to cry’, it is also good to allow yourself to focus on and choose happiness.”
The start of the track gives you the feel of the L.A. many of us dream of jetting off to, visiting the Hollywood walk of fame or heading down to Santa Monica beach. This summer feel is prevalent constantly and makes you just feel good.
Throughout the track, the lyrics imply true emotion and passion. The chorus beat of “I’m so sick of all these sad songs” truly gives the impression of how we all feel; we don’t want music that makes us want to crawl up in bed, we want music to make us pumped, pretending we’re in a music video with our shades on down the highway, all those positive feelings. Or potentially that’s just me living in my fantasy Hollywood dream when listening to the song!
This artist is one to watch, with other great hits such as ‘Stuck’ and ‘As We Go’ – all of which have been added to my Spotify playlist. There’s so much potential within these pieces of art and I can see Conway becoming very popular not only in America, but through his pop music, he can produce some great wavelengths here in the UK.
Conway’s upcoming release is one to add to his pristine collection, a captivating, fresh song to celebrate our newfound post-lockdown freedom. To find out more about Jack Conway’s music, head over to his website.
‘Sad Songs’ by Jack Conway is available to stream from May 14.
