Rumours are flying around about Harry Styles releasing new music in the next month, leading fans to become more and more ready for a new single and (hopefully) a brand-new album.
Styles’ second album ‘Fine Line’ was released in 2019 and was met with great success, with fans and listeners across the world excitedly waiting for what the ex-boyband member had in store next.
Now, nearly three years later, we are all anticipating new music as well as the new film projects that Styles has been working on during the pandemic.
If the rumours are true, Harry Styles fans can expect the singer’s latest studio album to be released by the end of this month.
This would begin the HS3 era and prepare fans for a UK and European tour heading their way this summer – in addition to a headlining set at Coachella in April.
In mid-February, the pop-rock star was seen in central London filming for what looked like a music video.
With Fine Line coming out three years ago, the best assumption was that the video will be for a single from his upcoming album.
Lounging on a giant bed outside Buckingham Palace, surrounded with blankets and pillows whilst filming the new video, it will be no surprise if the singer’s new music era will be camper and more extravagant than ever before.
Harry Styles’ music has taken a shift throughout the years, differing greatly from his beginnings singing bubble-gum pop music in One Direction over 10 years ago, to his first solo album being soft rock and more mature than the world had ever known him to be.
With inspiration for the singer-songwriter’s previous albums coming from 1970s soft rock, influenced by Joni Mitchell and David Bowie, it would be exciting to see a different sound coming from the ex-boy bander.
A possible new sound that incorporates a harder rock style, or even something with a disco influence, would be a unique and interesting change.
However, with investigation and speculation from Styles’ superfans, many believe this is the start of a harder rock music era.
‘Medicine’ was added to the final three ‘Love on Tour’ shows in 2021, and being an unreleased song that is more mature – having a clear influence from the rock greats like the Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac – everyone is hopeful for the new era to revolve around this sound.
I’m so happy to announce that ‘Love On Tour 2022’ is finally coming to the UK, Europe and South America.
Public on sale begins on Friday, Jan 28. Check your venue website for further information about your show, and protocols.

There is no official confirmation on who Harry has worked with on new music for the upcoming album, which might be seen as a hopeful sign to fans who want an era with a new sound.
With a new team of producers and songwriters, HS3 could be taken in an unfamiliar direction.
The star has received great praise about his solo music so far, and this is set to continue as his success grows with a sold-out tour across the UK and Europe and a headline set at Coachella very soon, where new music is set to be finally played live.
If rumours and previous praise lives up to be true, the new album could become one of the most successful and best of 2022.
