Following the release of their second LP ‘Full Circle’, the hip-hop trio will be bringing their distinctive sound to Nottingham’s Bodega on 31st October.
Released earlier this year, the trio have already garnered acclaim from a number of artists including Loyle Carner, Mistajam and BBC Radio 1. Featuring collaborations with Sampa The Great, Fliptrix (High Focus) and Terri Walker amongst other talents, Jungle Brown aka Ric Flo, MAEAR and Tony Bones have spent the last two years redefining soulful hip-hop. As a result, the sound is bigger, stimulating, and is underpinned with soulful maturity. On ‘Full Circle’ they have managed to enter territories fans were yet to hear prior, as they effortlessly glide over Tony Bonesā productions that introduce trap and house into their collection. The album is an eclectic array of their influences, which have been fused together to create a ground-breaking release for UK music.
Sharing the stage with the likes of De La Soul, Ghostface Killah, Lowkey, Akala and Donaeo, the trio have already secured spots at major festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown, and Lovebox as well as a huge number of clubs shows across the UK.
Their latest single āWe Onā featuring Sampa The Great interpolates a popular sample from Kool & The Gangās classic āSummer Madnessā and embodies a late summer vibe, delivering a sun-drenched, contemporary classic.
They’ll be bringing their high energy and unique fusion of musical influences to Nottingham’s Bodega on Thursday 31st October. Tickets can be found here.
