The Clockworks have just released their new single Advertise Me, months after the release of their debut EP Endgame.
The Clockworks were discovered by Alan McGee who has signed bands from Oasis to Primal Scream. The Galway band have delivered with their latest song Advertise Me which was made at the legendary Abbey Road Studios.
Their singles searing lyrics bring to the surface the hypocrisy within society and demonstrates the inactive approach towards the problems faced with honest lyrics like:
“complain about consumers from the comfort of my Mac”.
Their collection of rock singles has led them to major triumphs with tunes like Enough is Never Enough and The Future is Not What It Was.
The Clockworks have gained a following having toured at a variety of European festivals including Pukkelpop and The Great Escape.
They have supported the likes of Kings of Leon, completed US dates with the Pixies and UK support shows with indie bands Inhaler and The Reytons over the past year.
Advertise Me is their latest single to be released as they tour across the UK and Ireland this autumn.
They will be returning to Nottingham to perform at The Bodega on Saturday, 22 October.
