Boris Johnson is set to reveal what restrictions Nottingham will face following a rise in cases of coronavirus.
The Prime Minister is expected to announce full details of the approach in a statement to the House of Commons.
Cases of coronavirus have been rising dramatically for the past seven days, spiralling out of control.
The rate of infection in the city – measured by how many people have the virus per 100,000 people – is now one of the highest in the country.
As of Friday (October 9), the area remained top of the area rankings for rate of coronavirus cases.

In the week leading up to October 6, the rate was 760.6 per 100,000, a huge increase on the 12 cases per 100,000 in early September.
The Government is expected to announce a new three-tiered system of coronavirus guidelines.
Reports in broadcast media suggest the new tiers will rank areas as being in medium, high or very high alert.
The most severe restrictions could see pubs and restaurants close.
