Photos of how the newest Nottingham student accommodation should like have been released by Student Roost.

York House, on the corner of Mansfield Road and Union Road, is expected to open in time for the 2021/22 academic year.

Nearly 500 people will live in the new accommodation – which is just three minutes’ walk from the City campus.

Student Roost manage three other Nottingham student accommodation sites. Hydrogen and Trinity Square are close to Nottingham Trent University; Nottingham Two is close to the University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Campus.

Adam Simmons, Regional Operations Manager for Student Roost, said: “Residents at York House will be able to enjoy all the benefits of a house but so much more – fantastic rooms and facilities, an amazing city centre location right next to Nottingham Trent University.

“We can’t wait for it to open in just a few months.”

Prices at York House range from £179 for an en-suite ‘bronze’ room living with friends in a shared house, to £219 for a spacious and bright private ‘platinum’ studio flat.

That price covers everything, including all heating, water and electricity bills, superfast wifi, and insurance.

Students can pick from monthly, termly or annual payments.
