NTU’s Dance Club has showcased its annual show, which included 17 routines.
The members trained between two and five hours a week, preparing for the ‘Motion’ show and improving their abilities.
The show took place on Sunday, December 4 at the Djanogly City Academy in Sherwood and was many of the members’ first show as part of the dance squad.
Millie Bell, 18, a first-year student, took part in the Jazz, Hip-Hop, and contemporary routines.

Millie said: “The show was really fun and it was really exciting to be able to dance with new friends in a new atmosphere.
“My favourite part about dancing for Nottingham Trent University is the people as we have so much fun in class.
“I also enjoy the routines, shows, and competitions.”
The Dance Society at NTU offers a range of different dance squads to join, including jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, lyrical, and commercial.
They also offer open classes for those who may have never danced before, one on City Campus and one on Clifton.
Millie practices her dance skills on Monday and Tuesday, and sometimes joins the open class on Wednesday.
She said: “I’m looking forward to Varsity in February, competitions against other universities at the start of the year, and, of course, the annual show this month.”
