Nottingham Trent University has been ranked the second-best university in the UK for 2021/2022, according to University Compare.
The university has moved up one spot compared to last year.
Loughborough University came first in the rankings, whilst the University of Oxford came third.
University Compare ranks universities in the UK based on reviews from current and past students.
The university is also rated across a number of different factors, such as course quality, accommodation, and student life.
Finally, the students are asked if they would recommend the university to a friend.
Nottingham Trent University was third in course quality and student life and scored a recommendation rate of 98 per cent.
In the StudentCrowd University Awards 2021, NTU has also been mentioned in 10 different award categories.
The Nottingham Trent Students’ Union (NTSU) has been awarded a Top 10 Best Students Union award.
Conor Naughton, NTSU President, said: “Amazing to see NTSU be named as a top ten students’ union in the UK as voted for by our students.
“Everyone @trentstudents has worked so hard this year to represent and support students and it’s great to be recognised.”
NTSU VP Postgraduate Benedict Wills added: “Great to see the hard work everyone at NTSU and NTU have put in over the pandemic year to achieve such prestigious awards!”
NTU has also been awarded a Top 20 Best Campus and Facilities award, Top 20 Best Teaching Quality award, and Top 20 Best Job Prospects award.
These awards are based on 19,323 student reviews ranking Nottingham Trent against other universities in the country in 11 different categories.
