Hockley City Arts are selling the works of 21 up and coming local artists, craftspeople and makers for their Advent Christmas fundraiser.
The charity provides the floor to regional talents, with the aim of selling unique Christmas gifts to raise money for vulnerable and community groups.
All profits raised by the venue go directly to the partnered groups and those working within their programme.
Saturday saw the launch of the event that will continue until Wednesday 12th December.
Alma Solarte-Tobón, Creative Producer for City Arts said: “This is our fourth pop-up shop event at the Hockley venue.
“We give the opportunity for talent development and work with vulnerable and community groups across Nottingham and the East Midlands.”
She added: “We work with elders and care homes, as well as adults with learning difficulties and mental health problems.
“We reach groups and we try to make art accessible to the different groups who don’t have the means to do so.”
The event also gives local artists a chance to showcase their talents.
Stella Chidzik, from Leamington Spa, said: “It’s nice to get involved and it’s a good chance to meet other artists and showcase your work.”
The event will be held at City Arts Hockley until Wednesday the 12th of December
