H U N G E R, an upcoming street food stall, gave away and sold boxes of healthy food today for students and young professionals today on 27 October.
Dishes included Moroccan-inspired chicken, with cous cous, red onion and a chickpea and spinach salad.
There were even vegetarian options for those so inclined, with a ‘Power Salad’ containing sweet potato, kale, beetroot, borlotti beans and blueberries.
“There was a queue for the food before we even got here!” Aaron Morris, H U N G E R employee told us.
After all the food had sold out, “students with an appetite” could grab the delicious street food for a mere £2.50.
Students from Nottingham Trent University, University of Nottingham and anyone with an NUS Card were invited down to have a tasty treat.
This was to promote their new stall, which will be located on Clinton Street West starting from January next year.
They will join numerous other stallholders that operating in that area, such as Wholesome Juicery.
