March is one of the most important months in the SU calendar, with the results of the elections deciding on its path for the next year…
It can be a little overwhelming making sure you vote for all the different options, so we put together a timeline so you can make sure you don’t miss the deadlines.
Whether you’re a nominee or a voter, make sure you get involved in the elections and decide what you want your student union to be!
Friday 8th March: Nominations for all SU and society roles close at 12 pm.
Monday 11th March: Candidates for all SU positions will be briefed.
Friday 22nd March: Voting for all SU and society positions opens at 5 pm. Candidates can also start campaigning from this time.
Friday 22nd March: Q&A session with all SU position candidates at Brackenhurst campus.
Monday 25th March: Q&A session with all SU position candidates at Clifton campus.
Tuesday 26th March: Q&A Session with all SU position candidates at City campus.
Friday 29th March: VOTING CLOSES. Voting closes for all SU and society positions at 5 pm on Friday.
Saturday 30th March: Results of the SU elections will be announced at results night at the SU at 8 pm.
Week commencing 1st April: Sports teams and societies will reveal results of committee elections.
If you want to nominate yourself for a position at the Students’ Union, or in your society or sports team, go to trentstudents.org and click ‘My Nominations’ under the account tab.
