Nottingham Varsity began in spectacular fashion for 2023 as the University of Nottingham took early bragging rights with a 2-1 win in the ice hockey.
Overturning a 5-2 win for Nottingham Trent University in 2022, the UoN squad came back from a 1-0 deficit for much of the match to deliver two killer blows in the contest’s final five minutes.
