Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club are on the verge of the County Championship Division Two title today, as they try to bowl Durham out on Day 3 of their contest.
Having stacked up 662-5 declared in their first innings, Notts set to task last night against the Durham batting line-up and reduced the visitors to 53-2.
With David Bedingham unable to bat due to a dislocated shoulder, Notts only have to take seven further wickets and should then be in a position to enforce Durham’s second innings, with nine wickets to grab then.
It’s just a race against time, with two days remaining and Middlesex on their tail for the Division Two title if Notts can’t bowl Durham out.
