Nottingham Trent University’s sports teams are back in action this afternoon (October 27) when they take part in competitive fixtures up and down the country.
Those competing in pink will be hoping to make it a successful day for the university, with a number of NTU’s teams fighting at the top ends of their respective sport’s league standings.
Nottingham Trent Rugby Union’s first team will hope to follow up a dramatic win over the University of Nottingham when they take on the University of Leeds at Lady Bay (3pm).
The Rugby Union’s second team are also in action at Lady Bay when they face the University of Leicester (2pm) in another eye-catching fixture.

Having exited the Women’s FA Cup on Sunday afternoon with a defeat to Doncaster Belles, the women’s first team for football will play the University of Birmingham Women’s first team at Clifton Campus (2pm).
