The annual sporting clash between Nottingham’s two universities is fast approaching – here’s everything you need to know, including dates, times, locations and ticket costs.
Running between Wednesday 18 March and Sunday 10 May, sports teams from Nottingham Trent University (NTU) and the University of Nottingham (UoN) will go head-to-head to be crowned sporting champions.
With 19 fixtures taking place, the two universities will be gripped as NTU aim to regain the trophy for the first time since losing it in 2012.
Students from both establishments will go head-to-head in a number of sporting disciplines, varying from football to handball, rugby union to trampolining.
The title almost came to Trent in 2014 but UoN won the cricket by just three runs to hand them a narrow 8-7 victory over their arch-rivals.
This year’s series will see cricket not feature for the first time since 2015; the popular ice-hockey fixture will, however, be hosted at the Motorpoint Arena once again.
