Moving into a new city is the perfect opportunity to find interesting and cool Instagram spots. But where can you find them in Nottingham? Here’s a little head start from us…
Boots Library
Who doesn’t love books? Plus, when there’s 5 beautiful floors of them, you definitely will want to take a few snaps. The architecture is beautiful, and (almost) makes you not want to do any work! Having some of the modern features on campus makes it a wonderful place to work… even if it is for hours upon end!
Old Market Square
Seasonally filled with everything from German Markets to Summer Beaches, Old Market Square is one of the busiest yet beautiful areas the city centre has to offer. It’s the centre of attention even at the quietest times of the year, and it is still just as beautiful with the stunning fountain and grand council house alone.
Nottingham Canal
The canal has everything you want from a city-located river. Situated in the heart of the city (or just about), it’s perfect for a wander on a summers day or a spot of pub grub in the winter… And even some cheeky student discounts throughout the year!
Lace Market
This photo says it all. Lace Market is filled with the biggest hidden gems in the city. Old theatres, beautiful balcony views, and a gorgeous historical background. If you’re interested in something a little quirky and out there, then Lace Market is your place to explore!
Cobden Chambers, Lace Market
Well-known for its graffitied walls and independent shops, wherever you turn is as Instagrammable as the other (yes, that’s a word now). Hidden slightly off the beaten track, Cobden Chambers is a must visit even just for a little gander. Independent, small companies sell quirky home accessories, vintage and antique items, boutique fashion, jewellery and even music.
