We all know that the best thing about Christmas is the food. Whether you’re a fan of festive hot drinks or turkey-themed sandwiches, here are some of the best Christmas menus restaurants have to offer this year.
Costa
For all the caffeine lovers out there, Costa has you covered with their festive range. Alongside the usual gingerbread latte and range of hot chocolates, they also have a variety of Christmas treats on offer in the likes of Terry’s chocolate orange muffin’s, salted caramel yule log’s and mince pies. The British pigs & blankets mac & cheese is also to die for!
Tesco
Admittedly, you wouldn’t instantly think of a Tesco meal deal when you want festive food. Yet, it seems that the supermarket has outdone themselves this year. Students can rejoice in the 12 new savory options, including a turkey & stuffing Yorkshire pudding wrap, brie & cranberry panini and gammon & piccalilli sandwich for only £3. What a bargain.
Greggs
Greggs has definitely pulled out all the stops in the Christmas department this winter. Available from 18th November, the festive menu includes the classic festive bake, pigs in blankets, a Christmas lunch sandwich and Christmas lunch soup. New sweet treats on the menu are tiffin bites at £1.50 per pack and penguin biscuits.
McDonald’s
Although their Christmas menu isn’t as big as other restaurants, lovers of the Big Tasty will definitely not be disappointed. Burger lovers can get their hands on the Big Tasty and the Big Tasty with bacon from the 20th of November. Other items on the menu include the Chicken Deluxe, Cheese Melt Dippers and a Matchmakers Mint Mcflurry.
Starbucks
The range of Christmas drinks Starbucks has to offer this year is extensive. Whether you like a hot latte or an iced Frappuccino, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Highlights include the Christmas Brulée Latte, Egg Nog Latte, Toffee Nut Latte Cream Frappuccino, and Salted Caramel Brownie Hot Chocolate.
Pret
Alongside festive coffee and hot chocolate, Pret is offering a slightly different choice of food options compared to other places on the list. Vegetarians and vegans will be happy to know that they can munch on Christmas lunch sandwiches, whilst other options include lobster rolls, fish pie macaroni cheese, and turkey and ham soup. Yummy!
