9) Five Leaves Bookshop (@fiveleavesbooks)
Five Leaves Bookshop is a real hidden treasure in Nottingham. Just a short walk from Market Square, this bookshop won Independent Bookshop of the Year in 2018 and is very popular amongst students. The store has a wide selection of books so you will definitely find something you are interested in!

The Kitchen is the definition of adorable. Offering a wide range of food, from cakes to breakfasts, you’ll want to try everything on the menu!
7) Handmade Nottingham (@handmadenotts)
This gift shop is well known among many! Selling handmade gifts such as prints, patches and pins, you really will find a one-of-a-kind present in here. The store cannot be missed with its bright and colourful window displays.
6) Tough Mary’s Bakehouse (@toughmarysbakehouse)
All throughout lockdown, this bakery has always had a huge queue outside of customers collecting their homemade goods. Their delicious bread and croissants are a must try!
5) Zero (@hydratezero)
Zero is an L.A. style establishment selling Acai bowls, smoothies, and juices if you want a healthy snack. The Acai bowls are so good that Youtubers Sophia Tuxford and Cinzia Bay Liszullo can’t wait for this stores return.
4) Annie’s Burger Shack (@anniesburgershacknotts)
Located in the Lace Market, Annie’s Burger Shack is where you will want to be for the best burgers in town. The restaurant also offers Vegetarian/Vegan options and a great selection of hand chosen Ales.
3) Effy (@effynottingham)
Effy launched in 2019 and is the perfect pink coffee shop of dreams. Offering speciality coffee and various snacks, this is possibly the most aesthetic place in Nottingham. You seriously need to go here.

Coco Tang is a café by day, and a cocktail bar by night. This Oriental inspired restaurant is like no where else, you will be transported as soon as you walk through the door! Imagine some cocktails on their tropical rooftop garden in summer term – could it get any better?

Doughnotts needs no introduction. With the best doughnuts ever and the friendliest staff, you really should treat yourself to a few of their special doughnuts. You can choose from a standard menu or a premium menu, and they also offer weekly specials! If you haven’t tried one yet – you are seriously missing out.
