Hockley Hustle Festival returns to Nottingham to raise money for local charities

Hockley Hustle is a Nottingham based festival centered around music, art and fundraising. The event has 350 artists performing across 30 venues to raise money for charity.

Hockley Hustle takes place across Hockey and Sneinton Market on Sunday, October 23.

Since 2006, the festival has raised over £200,000 for local charities and showcases the best artists in Nottingham.

Yazmin Lacey (DJ set), Ella Knight, Gallery 47, ROB.GREEN, Joel Baker, BBC’s The Voice contestant Lyvia, Saffron, Jah Digga, The Most Ugly Child and V Rocket International are set to perform with many more.

Splendour Future Sound of Nottingham winners ALT BLK ERA are taking to the stage at Bodega in custom made knitwear made by the Sneinton design duo A3 Knit.

From drag bingo, spoken word collectives and a reggae sound system feature, there is something for everyone at the event.

Spotify has collaborated with Hockley Hustle, letting them take over the We Are Nottingham playlist, 50 songs have been added to the playlist celebrating the best musicians in the city.

The festival is supporting local charities carrying out vital work across the city including: Imara, Base 51, Emmanuel House, BME Cancer Communities and a Nottingham food bank.

Tickets are available for struggling families who may not be able to pay for entry,  thanks to the support from Nottingham Business Improvement District.

Young Hustlers is a music and arts festival for children aged between two to seventeen and their families.  This family event has everything from dance workshops at the Brazilian Cultural Centre, music workshops teaching beatboxing, kids are able to record themselves and have it  pressed into vinyl, open mic event for kids to take part in, art workshops and learning circus skills at the Circus Hub.

Young Hustlers costs £3 for children and £8 for adults.
