The number rises up to 1,448 reported cases – the highest amount of any institution in the country.
This is according to the University and College Union latest data released on Friday (October 9).
Nottingham City Centre has also been reported the area with the highest coronavirus rate in the country, with almost six times more reported cases per 100,000 people than the England average.
On the second place is University of Manchester at 1,446 reported cases, followed by Northrumbia University with 1,389.
This is after University of Nottingham has implemented its own asymptomatic testing programme which would identify cases earlier and in a shorter period of time.
Through this programe, the university is aiming to test 10,000 students a week.
